Govanhill Suffrage Banner
2018 marked the 100th anniversary of the Representation of the People Act. This gave some women and all men the right to vote in local and national elections in the UK. The project culminated in the production of a banner, a multimedia exhibition, street performance, women’s bike ride and an afternoon of talks in March 2019.

I was commissioned to produce Govanhill Suffrage banner, by Govanhill Baths. The banner was designed and produced through workshops with Annette St Primary and Shawlands Academy pupils.
The banner is now part of the Govanhill Baths archive.
